July/August 2020 The Great Migration
Please note - there is enormous interest in this Safari and it will be sold out very quickly.
In 2020 the planned safari will be in August.
There has been an enormous amount of interest in this safari, and it is almost completely booked. At this stage, my scheduling will not allow for a Safari in June/July. BUT, if there is interest, it is possible to add a Safari in February with an itinerary similar to that of February 2019. PLEASE contact me if you are interested.
The trip will include time spent in Arusha at the School of St Jude, where we will visit a genuine Maasai Boma (not a tourist commercial Boma), visit a family in their home, plus various other activities.
The safari will include 9 days in Serengeti and the Maasai Mara, where we will stay in the best location to maximise our chance of witnessing the Wildebeest crossing the Mara River.
As usual, there is the option to end your trip with a bit of luxury and history on the beautiful island of Zanzibar. I am planning on 5 days here, there is so much to see with the amazing doors (rivaling those of Morocco) the stunning white beaches and the history of the slave trade.
I hope to add a proposed itinerary and a pricing guide before the end of the year.
This safari will be more expensive than my previous safari's. We will be going at the absolute peak of the season, the Mara is very expensive, and there are included flights. The time spent on safari will also be a little longer that previous tours.
As usual, I will try to keep this Safari as affordable as I possibly can without using poor accommodation or operators.
